Five top regional acts have been scheduled for the “Sounds of Lewisville” Fall Concert Series, presented for the 18th consecutive year by the City of Lewisville. The free concerts will be held Tuesday nights from September 11 through October 9, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Wayne Ferguson Plaza in Old Town Lewisville. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Alcohol and pets are prohibited at the concert series.
“We are pleased to produce another great year for all concert series fans locally and in neighboring communities,” Events and Promotions Specialist Melinda Stephens said. This fall lineup will include music in a range of genres from blues to polka. AUTUMN EXTRAVAGANZA (Halloween carnival) Saturday, October 27 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Civic Circle Recreation Center, 191 Civic Circle Drive
Looking for a place to take the kids to trick-or-treat in a safe environment? Join the Parks & Leisure Services Department Annual Autumn Extravaganza Carnival at the Civic Circle Recreation Center. All ages are welcome. Admission is $1 per person. Don't forget to wear your favorite costumes and bring your trick-or-treat bags. Costume contest starts at 10 a.m. No registration is required. Concessions will be available at a minimal charge. Bring your camera to capture those precious memories of your kids in their festive costumes in our staging area. HOLIDAY AT THE HALL
The “Holiday at the Hall” festival is held in Old Town Lewisville will be held on Saturday, December 1 and will feature a wide range of free family events . Any family looking for a way to kick off the holiday season and really get into the festive spirit should stop by Old Town for this event. The festival includes local favorites such Breakfast with Santa, the city’s official holiday tree-lighting celebration and the Old Town Stroll, a parade down Main and Mill streets, live entertainment, visits with Santa Claus, and the annual Motorcycle Toy Run.
Breakfast with Santa in Old Town Lewisville is part of the Holiday at the Hall festival and will take place from 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The Greater Lewisville Kiwanis Club will be onsite to prepare a pancake breakfast for a minimal charge. Lewisville Holiday at the Hall Festival Volunteers
Volunteers are a vital and important part of Lewisville’s growing festivals and events. Volunteer opportunities are available for groups, families, businesses, and community organizations. Each volunteer will receive an official volunteer t-shirt and invitation to the “bbq thank you” to thank everyone for their community spirit. Volunteers must be 18 years old. Youth Group volunteer opportunities are available if accompanied by adult supervision.

DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE - Calling all Dads! Bring your “Belle” ages 5-12 to our Annual Valentine Dance, at Civic Circle Recreation Center from 7p.m. – 10p.m. Dance the night away, enjoy our finger food buffet, make and take home an arts & crafts project and take that forever cherished evening photograph. Semi-formal attire is required. To register, please go to either Recreation Center or the PALS Administration office. Souvenir photos and flowers will be available at a minimal charge. POPCORN CONCERT Lewisville Lake Symphony/LakeCities Ballet Theatre Memorial Park Recreation 1950B S. Valley Parkway Lewisville, TX 75067 “Peter and the Wolf” Conductor Adron Ming, the Lewisville Lake Symphony, a narrator, and the LakeCities Ballet Tell Sergei Prokofiev’s cunning tale at the family Popcorn Concert. Children and grown-ups of all ages have a fine time finding out if Peter and his friends can outsmart that wolf and , it just so happens, learn a few musical songs along the way. FUNNY BUNNY FESTIVAL Our Annual Funny Bunny Festival has moved to 1950B S. Valley Parkway, Memorial Park Recreation Center. No registration is required. This event is free to the public, however, donations will be accepted at the door on the day of the event to help off set expenses. The Lewisville Noon Rotary Club will be preparing a pancake breakfast for a small donation. The breakfast will be served at our Senior Center next door. In addition, this action-packed festival includes carnival games, arts & crafts, souvenir photos (additional charge), and of course, a good old-fashioned egg hunt! Our annual Egg Hunt will be set up on the back lawn. Parents will not be permitted to enter into the egg hunt area with their children nor will strollers be permitted in that area. All children participating in the egg hunt portion of the festivities must be able to walk successfully by themselves. SOUNDS OF LEWISVILLE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES Every year, thousands gather on Tuesday evenings in the summer at the tranquil Vista Ridge Amphitheater to enjoy some of the area's best bands under the stars of Lewisville. Weekly concerts include a variety of bands from funk to rock to polka music. Attendance averages more than 1,000 guests at each concert.

RED WHITE & LEWISVILLE, FIREWORKS AND FESTIVAL The city’s annual Independence Day festival, Red White & Lewisville is held on July 4 each year. Activities included live entertainment, childrens activities, and a spectacular fireworks show shortly after dark.

FAMILY CONCERT IN THE PARK & NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
The Family Concert in the Park and National Night Out” is held annual in August at Memorial Park located at the corner of Valley Parkway and Corporate Drive. Families can enjoy live music, visit with the Lewisville Police Department and Fire Department, and visit onsite vendors. WESTERN DAY FESTIVAL
The Annual Western Day festival in Old Town Lewisville on is held annual during Labor Day weekend. Bring your family to this western-based event, designed to showcase Lewisville's rich history. Everyone will enjoy live music, arts and crafts vendors, gunfight re-enactments, trick ropers, petting zoo, car show, and three nights of the annual Labor Day Rodeo. This all day event will keep you, your family, friends and visitors entertained while enjoying the reminiscing of the Old West.
