Secluded Point Noble Estates in Flower Mound TX

Nestled in the tall trees of Point Noble Estates are some of the most breathtakingly beautiful homes in southwest Flower Mound real estate.  The gated-and-guarded community of less than 50 Flower Mound TX homes is also perfectly situated along Grapevine Lake in the City of Flower Mound.  Money magazine recently selected Flower Mound as one of the “Best Places to Live” in the western USA.

For residents who enjoy boating, water sports, fishing, and strolling along the water’s edge, Point Noble is a peaceful oasis, a hard-won peace according to legend.  Some of the large lots back to Corps property, allowing even more privacy and seclusion.  With wooded hills, panoramic views, creeks, shorelines, and trails, the elegant Point Noble homes in Flower Mound offer residents unlimited outdoor recreational and leisure activities.

Real estate in Flower Mound consists of a variety of single-family detached homes, estate properties, and land lots.  The town boasts low tax rates, a pro-business government, and a wide range of price points for houses, excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, and cultural and recreational facilities including nationally recognized trails and golf courses—Tour 18 and Bridlewood.  Connecting the town’s parks, ball fields and facilities, the trails are used for walking, running, cycling, skating, and horseback riding.

Preferring to call itself a town that embraces a country atmosphere, heritage, and quality of life instead of a “city”, its residents have proactively managed recent growth while cultivating a dynamic economy.  A notable location just off I-35 five miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has drawn a multitude of industries and professions—from scientific, management, administrative services, waste management services, educational, health, social services, retail, finance, insurance, real estate, rental and leasing, to manufacturing—providing a wide range of employment options.

Point Noble’s first homes were constructed beginning in 1996 on lots of approximately one to one and a half acres.  The median sale price for homes in Point Noble in 2007 was $935,000 for 5,500 square feet.  However, there are several homes selling for over a million dollars and one very large land parcel that is pushes $10 million.  At this point, artisans such as Apri Custom Homes, Axxium Custom Homes, Cliff Hodge Custom Homes, Jim Sexton Custom Homes, Ken Hodge Custom Homes, Monogram Custom Homes, Precision Home Builders, Quivera Homes, and Solarian Homes have added to the glory of the wooded neighborhood.

The Lewisville Independent School District operates the neighborhood schools including Liberty Elementary (Exemplary), McKamy Middle (Exemplary), and Flower Mound High School (Recognized).  The University of Dallas is a short distance away and several additional colleges and universities dot the Metroplex.

Legends circulate about the origins of the Point Noble community.  It seems that during the 1940s the land north of Grapevine Lake was eyed by the Mafia bosses from New York and Chicago.  A wealthy and successful gambler named Herb Noble took a stand against them, retreating to his ranch and recruiting likeminded people to help.  During the full-scale turf war, according to the stories, Noble lived through numerous shootings while opposing the infiltration of organized crime into the Metroplex.  The headquarters for his operation are the stone cabins on a hill where Point Noble subdivision is now located.
