FM 2499 (Long Prairie Road) runs north to south and accesses State Highway 121 and Interstate 635 north of the DFW airport. Much of the new commercial development featuring large chain stores is on the edge of the city near the famous mound at the intersection of Long Prairie Road and Justin Road. Lake Grapevine and Marshall Creek form the town’s southern border with Lewisville to the east and Highland Village, Double Oak, and Bartonville to the north.
